As I step my foot on the fine-grained, sweltering sand, I found myself at awe. “It is so beautiful, full of life, and overwhelmingly picturesque”.

“The artist is the creator of beautiful things. To reveal art and conceal the artist is art’s aim. The critic is he who can translate into another manner or a new material his impression of beautiful things.” -Oscar Wilde

Sandy beaches and ocean views

This was my first time at Avila Beach. Usually, I would go to the typical beaches such as Pismo, Santa Monica, or Santa Cruz, but I opted for Avila. It was a sister’s day out. I haven’t had this much fun in a while. We parked at the public parking space which was right across from the most delicious shave ice, Big Al’s At The Beach. I didn’t expect the parking to be reasonable, but it was. Parking was only $6 at the time! I will include a map of the parking space for all of you.

First impression: I freaking love Avila Beach!

This is so beautiful with all the small cottages and alleyways. Everything about it just seem so perfect.

I would say…this place had the best clam chowder! 😃 I know, I know what you think. Splash Cafe in Pismo is just around the corner. However, people have different tastes and I like this place the best. If given the chance again, I would go here and get my clam chowders. Absolute best!

As mentioned earlier, the shave ice at Big Al’s was delicious. If you do get the chance, spot by this place. It’s in a small alleyway which I didn’t even knew existed. It’s right across the parking lot area, super close.

My favorite part of it all…was spending time with my sisters. If you do go, let me know what you think. Where should I go next?….

I’m barely starting on my personal blog, which I waited so long to do. I’ll tell you more about this on another blog, but subscribe to see more posts in the future. I will definitely have more for all of you. Much love ~
